TRAVEL DIARY
PHOENIX
Resort: Arizona Biltmore Waldorf Astoria
If you want a mixture of out door adventures,  along with wellness spa treatments, then Arizona is a perfect place to visit. Arizona is one of those hidden gems of a vacation destination in America that most don’t think about. But this being our second time there, we knew exactly what to expect. This time around, we had the privilege of checking out three different resorts. Our first stay was at the historical luxury resort (Arizona Biltmore Waldorf Astoria) located in Phoenix. Known as the “Jewel of the desert”, the architecture of this resort is breathtaking. This beautiful resort with mountain views has amazing Art Deco decor and offers some of the most beautiful suites and private villas. During our four night stay, we took part in activities like golfing, hiking at the near by camel back mountain, as well as fine dinning while relaxing most nights at the dive in movies by the pool. If you’re traveling with children, this resort has some of the best supervised childcare we’ve ever had. They have multiple child entertainment amenities that kids can attend with parents or hired supervised resort staff.
SEDONA
Resort: Hilton Sedona Resort at Bell Rock
Sedona’s beauty definitely left a lasting impression on us. We were amazed by the calmness and stillness of this little town that is surrounded by breathtaking red rock mountains. We stayed at the Hilton Sedona Resort at Bell Rock, which is a beautiful resort that offers stunning panoramic views of the red rocks. While in Sedona, we took advantage of the two main things Sedona is famous for, spa treatments and hiking. We really enjoyed our time at the Eforea Spa located inside the resort property. Our treatments of choice were the anti-aging facial and the red clay body wrap, which we really enjoyed. During our four night stay, we went on a few out door adventures. There are a lot of amazing hiking trails which lead to swimming holes that you can spend the afternoon cooling down in.  We also got to cross the Grand Canyon off of our bucket lists, which was only less then a two hour drive away from the resort. This was definitely a fun excursion and a memorable trip for the whole family.
 PARADISE VALLEY, SCOTTSDALE
Resort: Double Tree Resort by Hilton Hotel
At this resort, we stayed in a beautiful suite with our own private patio entrance to the main pool of the property. We loved this resort for many reasons. However, the convenient location was the main reason we enjoyed staying here. It is located in the heart of Scottsdale. Just a walking distance from many shops and amazing restaurants. During our five day stay, we managed to escape to the near by Scottsdale Fashion Square where we found some great shopping and we also explored Old Town’s nightlife and restaurants.
