7 Wearable Spring 2019 Fashion Trends

Birds chirping, filling trees, fields of blooming flowers, and the air filled with new dreams, desires, new spring arrivals, and of course, trends that have made their marks for the seasons to come.  It is time to kiss the cold weather goodbye, and welcome the fresh smell of grass and florals, but to also feel renewed as spring & summer fill us with their lightness. This spring & summer will be one that will bring nothing but pure joy and happiness to all of us. Fashion is a story that we all tell based on the clothes, accessories, and confidence we choose to wear.

I’m really excited to share with you some trends that have made their mark for this season, and that’ll be here to stay. Just as springtime is a time of rejuvenation and blooms, so are Spring/Summer clothing pieces that create trends that anyone can wear and feel beautiful and radiant like a spring day. I hope your lives will be filled with nothing but pure joy and happiness. Can’t wait to see you all radiate in all of the pieces of the seasons to come, and how you will choose to tell your story in those pieces. On a final note, please never forget who you are and always, be bold, be brave, and be confident for you are beautiful.

UTILITY / CARGO

We saw this trend all over Fashion Week both on the runways and on the streets.  We love seeing utility style tops, jackets, cargo pants, matching cargo sets, and even utility belts. We see these styles in neutral tones so that means its something that will last in our wardrobes for years to come because you can pair it with anything. This is a trend that can definitely go from Spring to Fall.

BOILER SUITS

This trend became even more popular during this passed fall mostly layered over turtlenecks and t-shirts. However, we are seeing it even more now in the Spring come in lighter colors, shorter sleeves and different fabrics. We love a good boiler suit because its one of those easy pieces that you can just throw on like a dress and you don’t have to worry about what to pair it with.

LONG SHORTS

Some people call them Bermuda shorts and others call them cycling shorts. They are long shorts that come just above the knee. This trend has been getting more and more popular and we are seeing it styled in many different ways whether dressed up with a boyfriend blazer and some boots or dressed down with a simple t-shirt and a pair of sneakers. Although it’s a super cute and hip trend, we will have to skip this one because we are personally not big fans of shorts. 

LAVENDER & MINT

Lavender & Mint/Pistachio are very popular pastel colors every Spring and we saw purple and mint tones everywhere during Fashion week. We love styling a good lavender or mint suit during spring! Pastels are always fresh and calming colors that just scream Spring.

YELLOW

Yellow is also another color that is super popular this season. For most people, it is kind of an intimidating color. It’s very loud and bold. It can be a hard color to pull off, so it’s important to find the perfect shade of yellow that compliments your skin tone.  So many brands are offering clothes and accessories in many different shades of yellow, and we are excited to play with this trend for Spring/Summer.

HAIR ACCESSORIES

Head Bands are very much in style this season. Whether it’s padded or pearl headbands, Blair Waldorf is somewhere super excited about the return of headbands. I think a pretty headband is a fun way to make an edgy outfit look a little more feminine. Another cool and trendy accessory we are seeing all over social media and in stores are hair clips. We are loving hair clips in different sizes and shapes, hair clips that spell out different words, pearl and studded hair clips, we just want to pile them all on; the more the merrier.
